DESCRIPTION:The City of Chino\, in partnership with Waste Management\, is providing a FREE Residential Community Clean-Up for City of Chino residents on Saturday\, October 26\, 2024\, from 8:00am – 1:00pm at 13793 Redwood St. Dispose of unwanted tires (maximum of 9 tires per household)\, appliances\, electronics\, green waste\, concrete\, brick\, dirt\, scrap metal and much more. Vehicles are limited to cars\, pick-up trucks\, station wagons\, vans\, and SUVs. \nNo hazardous waste\, sharps (needles and syringes)\, business/commercial waste\, and company vehicles will be accepted. \nResidents with trailers and or enclosed storage trucks will be directed to the transfer station with a voucher for free disposal that can be picked up at the clean-up event. \nSpecial Instructions\nParticipants are required to: \n\nBring proof of Chino residency (CA ID & Utility Bill).\nCome prepared to unload your own items.\n\nFor more information\, please contact Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 or the City of Chino at WasteandRecycling@cityofchino.org. \n\n\nResidential Community Clean Up Oct (PDF)

SUMMARY:Household Hazardous Waste Collection
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District\, the City’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program provides residents of Chino and San Bernardino County with a safe and convenient way to dispose of common household chemicals free of charge. HHW Collection events are held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 8 am to 1 pm and closed on the 4th Saturday in December at the Public Works Service Yard. \nRegularly scheduled events are subject to change. \nDuring every visit\, participants are limited to disposing 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous materials in containers no larger than 5 gallons. Business waste and sharps are not accepted.
