The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted a resolution on Oct. 20 in support of the San Bernardino Community College District’s Legacy Village housing project and conditionally committed $28 million from the Foster Youth Campus Reserve toward its development.
| The project itself will be led by the college district and include 88 affordable housing units to be constructed by Jamboree Housing Corporation, 180 workforce housing units and 461 student housing beds to be developed by The Annex Group, LLC. Additionally, the development will include approximately 9,100 square feet of space for flexible use and food services, as well as approximately 9,280 square feet of space for conferences and community meetings. The project will also potentially serve transitional-age former foster youth. |
