San Bernardino County is calling on volunteers to help with the official count of unsheltered individuals on Jan. 22 to gather data that will be used to determine how federal funds are distributed.

The annual Point-in-Time Count (PITC), a collaboration between the San Bernardino County Office of Homeless Services and the San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership, provides a snapshot of the county’s homeless population, which helps officials track progress toward reducing homelessness and ensure resources are being directed to the communities with the greatest need.
